Tap

All about rhythm it develops a sense of timing and musicality, helping children to keep in time and understand the music they are dancing to. Tap involves intricate movements using steels plates on the bottom of the shoes and helps improve co-ordination.


Musical Theatre/Theatrecraft

for theatrical performance, training the body through exercise and stimulating artistic ability in dance, including the interpretation of music, and use of hand props. Combined with Musical theatre to help train expression and vocal tone, all children will find this fun and exciting.


Modern

Helps you to develop emotion through interpretation of any musical genre. Classes are structured to increase physical strength and flexibility. Modern is an important aspect of dance and helps develop performance and skills in all other dance forms.


Freestyle

The most popular form of dance in the UK. It involves runs, spins, kicks and leaps as well as many other diverse steps with lots of different arm and hand actions. The be fast and 'beaty' or slow and sensuous, allowing dancers to use freedom of expression to enhance their style.
